FAALİYET DETAYLARI
Our main goals are the empowerment of young people for positive change through education, inspiration and learning by doing. The project’s scope is sustainable living and organization. The way we do that is through creating hand’s on experience, workshops and excursions in the five pillars of our project: organic gardening, sustainable gastronomy, sustainable forest management and preservation, sustainable building and maintenance, and through entrepreneurship and community (locally, regionally and internationally). Participants will get hands-on experience in different areas of theproject and they get to practice personal leadership qualities. The aim is that everyone will return home with lots of new personal qualities, skills, knowledge, insights and a feeling of being part of a larger community of learners and change makers.
KONAKLAMA, YEMEK VE YOL AYARLAMALARI
Mundekulla provides a volunteer house that accommodates the volunteers, we provide wifi, linen, bedsheets and towels. All rooms have a table and chairs, big cupboard for clothing, windows, plants and a welcoming atmosphere. Mundekulla provides all ingredients for food necessary and the volunteers can eat the meals during the retreats. Mundekulla provides bicycles for discovering the area. There are also local busses and Mundekulla staff goes into Emmaboda and can drive volunteers into town when needed. There are many walking and bicycle paths in the area as well as lakes, swimming places.
FAALİYET SIRASINDA EĞİTİM
We will be offering weekly workshops in Nonviolent Communication, Entrepreneurship, Creativity, Leadership ect. The training will otherwise mostly be through learning by doing, working along a work-leader in the garden, kitchen and forest. On top of that we will visit local sustainable projects in the surrounding.
KATILIMCI PROFİLİ
Volunteers need to show a genuine interest for sustainable living and working, community life, personal development, action based learning and international exchange. We want to support young people who have the ambition to be part of a positive societal change towards sustainability, community and leadership and who are searching for skills, knowledge and experience in these fields. Participants show curiosity about the world and are engaged in societal issues of the environment, social justice and globalization. Educational background or professional skills are not of importance.
