ETKİNLİK DETAYLARI
On Air is an ESC 12-month volunteering project which aims to lay the foundations for the sustainable development of a viable community for the young generation. The project can be structured in four steps: gathering different ideas, finding common motivation, connecting with community members and dialogue with them. The project involves 16 volunteers who are going to be involved in a process of open interviewing 1000 people from Marasesti with a view to obtaining a detailed picture of the social situation of the moment; the volunteers and the project team members will immortalize the people and places of Marasesti in newspaper articles, editing and printing a monthly magazine, broadcasting a live news show of the day, shooting a film, writing a book – an anthology of the people and places of Marasesti, creating an exhibition of 1000 photos conceived during the interviews, setting up a press club.
KONAKLAMA, YEMEK VE YOL AYARLAMALARI
The volunteers will live in rented flats in Marasesti, in shared bedrooms (2 volunteers will share a room), individual beds, common area, shared cooking, washing,laundry and social facilities, free WI-fi included. Food: Volunteers will receive a monthly food allowance of 150 Euro to buy food products and cook for themselves and a monthly allowance of 90 Euro in form of “pocket money”. Transport: Volunteers are responsible for arranging their travel.Travel costs will be reimbursed at the end of the project according to the distance band limits imposed by the European Commission.
ETKİNLİK SÜRESİNCE EĞİTİM
The volunteers will be accompanied and supported at all times during the activities by teachers from classes and they will receive training at the beginning of their stage in order to become familiar with the way the activities will be implemented. They will receive ongoing support from activity coordinators, teachers and staff of our organization. The volunteers will attend the On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation, organized by the Romanian National Agency. The volunteers will also receive Romanian language training .
KATILIMCI PROFİLİ
Volunteers will be 18-30 years old, motivated to be actively involved in activities to promote active citizenship and solidarity. They should show interest in journalism, video production and editing, willing to learn Romanian, able to work in a team; responsible, flexible; motivated by this project and able to attend the full duration of the project. The project includes 8 volunteers with fewer opportunities, facing one of the following obstacles: Social Difficulties, Cultural Differences, Economic Difficulties, Disability, Health Problems, Geographical obstacles.
